Hi all

Any opinions on the Roland VK8M Hammond module? I'm thinking of buying one second hand. Any advice / opinions are welcome.

Cheers & Beers

Hey Paul

Good for overdriven Hammond sounds a la Jon Lord, not so authentic for jazz. don't pay too much for it. Best module at the moment is the HX-3 I think, followed be the old electro 2 rack from Nord and the EMU B-3 for a rompler. In software use Vb3 or eb3. Happy Hammonding!

Hey Paul,

I have a VK-8 keyboard.
The sound is warm and got lot's of tweaking possibilities. I am gonna sell mine in near future.....i need more than only hammond sound!

200 is a good very good deal! I can sell my board for 600 euro!

Cheers,

Marc
