Silver Moon

[V1]
Silver moon way up high
Shine on me tell me why
Does my heart hurt so much
Now I miss his sweet touch
Take the tears from my eyes
Lift them high to the skies
Make this pain leave me soon
Begging you please silver moon

[V2]
Silver moon shine on me
Give me hope set me free
Show me how to move on
Now that his love is gone
Give to me strength to fight
To get through one more night
Please please help me through
Silver moon I'm begging you

[Bridge]
Ohhhhhhhh silver moon silver moon
Shine on me shine shine shine on me
Silver moon ohhhhhhhh silver moon
Begging you begging you set me free

[Chorus]
Silver silver silver moon
Make this pain leave me real soon
Begging you my silver moon
Stop this heartache silver moon

I need the talents of musicians/singers to make them come alive. If anyone likes any of the words they are welcome to interpret them in their own way. All were written to a tune in my mind, but I'm not a musician and do not pretend to be one. x

Thank you for the suggestion. Once I figure my way around here a little I may do that. I am happy for the moment to hear any feedback, good or bad. I am learning. Only been writing these for 2 months, and have begun to learn guitar so I hope one day to be able to express my musical intentions better. For now though I am more than happy to let others weave their magic if they can on my words. xx

Hi Jane,

"Oops I think I did it again ?"

Am I the only one to pick up your lyrics ? Still a pleasure for me, here's the new one, thought a jazzy feeling could fit to those words :

Great track by OliVBee, marmotte, and Marc. Marmotte really is so good at delivering lyrics like these with a full compliment of emotions. This track rightfully puts the sound in mid 20th Century as this is the feel of the lyrics (moon, June honeymoon, sine on shine on sliver moon up in the sky, etc.). Certainly not rap.

Jane, you couldn't have found a better line up of fine musicians to record this.

for me, this is a good idea. a few times I was locking for free lyrics on internet and if I can find it here, I will first looking here. Because I know, there is no copyright on it. And I know it was made to use on wikiloops.

thanks for sharing

Hi Jane
it is just beautifull . Some track is comming for those lyrics. I can certailly make a sample of a vocal melody, but you will certainly need to ask to a best singer for a remake of the voice track

Lothar, my friend, I bet that many musicians in Germany know that our law don't use the term copyright. Instead you have a "Urheberrecht". You can't sell it, can't buy it or throw it away or even ignore it.
If you own the right of the "Urheber" you have the right to give a written permission that someone can use it. Even for zero Dollars.
