Has anyone else noticed, there is no notification on the Wikiloops enevelope icon when you get a private message, or an email notification, I used to have both, now I don’t, I think there’s a bug or something, or could my memory be low..I don’t know?!!
I apologise to those who have waited ages for a reply, it’s not me being ignorant!!! :|

Hey Stella,
I moved this thread into the feedback and suggestions board, please post such issues there in the future :)

I assume you are referring to the envelope icon in the top right corner, and the red infobubble showing unread mails, right?
To make sure i'm looking at the right piece of code, please let me know wether you are:
Using a mobile device, the website or the app, and your screen resolution.
One possibility of why the icon gets reset is having multiple tabs open: Sometimes, when you get a message while online, wikiloopswill open a chat messenger small window (the kind that opens when you click on the "speech bubbles" in the online users panel).
The message gets marked as read in this event- if you however have continued to browse on in another browser tab and do not notice that chat window, you will experience the described effect. Could that be it?
