Hi Dick,

Great job on the v11 - very subtle but the changes are really neat, well thought-out and clean!

I'm encountering only one issue so far and that's the music player on Safari. Both on my Mac and on my iPhone the player works but the red progress bar doesn't move, nor can you click on it to jump around the music.

I've tested this on Firefox and Opera on my Mac and it works correctly there. Can't test Chrome as I don't allow that browser on anything I own!

I've attached a screen shot. You can see the music timer works, but the music length on the right-hand side seems to be doing a NaN thing and, as you can also see, the red progress bar doesn't, erm, progress despite being 13 seconds into the music. I can work around the issue on my Mac by using another browser but I only have Safari on my iPhone.

Thank you, Dick, for another great progression in the Wikiloops platform! :)

It seems image attaching/uploading doesn't work either - I had to upload it to my gallery and then link it! Might be just Safari.

Hey folks,
I have set up a little patch but really need your feedback to make sure I fixed the right spot :)
Please have a look at https://www.w11.wikiloops.com/backingtrack-jam-161712.php (mind, that's the beta testing domain once more) and let me know if the cursor is moving as expected now, seems safari has some specialities on that...
thanks for your help & feedback!

There is a detail that seems to me different from last version, that is: The length of the track that was a fixed value now is showing the time left to the end of the track.

Yes, that is indeed different, and i'm not all convinced that that is a cool thing to have... I mean seriously, I have never missed such a count-down thing in the previous versions.
Shall we move back to showing the toal time without countdown?

Hey,
thanks for letting me know, I hope that is fixed again by now, I also stopped the playback countdown issue once i was at it.

I received quite a lot of bug issues outside of the forum (not all as kind and helpfull as yours...) during the week and have been patching and rolling back quite a lot of things,
so you might run inot some things that used to be fixed in the meantime, sorry about that.
Obviously, both safari browsers and good old edge/IE are having issues with some of the v11 code, and I'm slowly finding a good balance that works on prettymuch every scenario, please hang in there with me.
I wished more people would have followed the call to check out the beta version so these things could have been noticed, reported and fixed ahead of rolling out... take that as another way of saying thank you to all of you who took the time & effort, it wouldn't work without folks like you :)
Have a great easter weekend everybody.
