Filmtips, anyone?

I thought that in these times a movie tip or two could be helpful, especially if it's movies with any good or exceptional soundtrack?

So here's my tip for now, seen it yesterday, and loved it:

https://www.arte.tv/de/videos/020664-000-A/bella-martha/

"Bella Martha" (original title as a German production, in England known as "Mostly Martha", see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mostly_Martha_(film) for its Wikipedia and https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0246772/ for its IMDb pages) is about a female chef who's a control freak in her kitchen, until life gets in the way.

That alone is wonderful enough, but you saw me *really* surprised when after a minute or two into the movie the soundtrack started - and the main theme throughout this movie is "Country" by Keith Jarrett, together with his "European Quartet" (Jan Garbarek, Palle Danielsson, and Jon Christensen (RIP)). Wonderful. This track alone makes the movie a must see. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mostly_Martha_(film)#Soundtrack for a complete list of the music in this one.

Oh, there's a trailer on Youtube, but it doesn't do this movie any justice - and the music isn't even mentioned in it. Still in case you want to see some of the actors, here they are:

So there you have it. Can be watched for free in Arte's Mediathek if you live in Germany (and probably Austria and Switzerland or France), if not then it's still a recommendation as a movie to get as a commenter on IMDb also wrote.

Have fun with this one - I found it wonderful.

Have a nice start into your week,
stay safe,
cheers,
Wolfgang
