Hello peeps.
Although I have been a member for some time, I lost my computer a few years ago and have not made any music in that time.
Recently I got a big fire in my arse to make music again.
I’m trying to download some drum tracks and iPhone will not do it. It just plays a livestream but no actual file goes to the phone.
I cannot find anything about it in your forum nor on google nor on iPhone sites.
Anybody know what’s up with that?
Thanks in advance.

My iPhone does the same I think thats just the way it is. I'm also disappointed with Apple Mac. Never again. But for now I'm stuck with it. :(

Thanks folks..that’s what I kinda figured.
My studio is in the mountains so I can’t download on my computer.
My iPhone won’t even hotspot to windows either.
I’ve also had a hell of a time transferring music with my band mates.
iPhone sucks for musicians.
I still have my Android and i had no problems transferring files with it.
I will be throwing this iPhone in the dumpster today. It’s a totally stupid waste of money.

Half solved…
Apparently there is no physical way to extract music from an iPhone unless you buy the music. It can be done on Android but now my computer won’t see Android for some stupid reason.
So the only way for me to extract music from a phone is to hot spot my Android with the iPhone, download music onto Android, then plug Android into DAW with 1/8th inch jack because iPhone has no 1/8 inch jack, then play the track and record it manually.
It only takes about 9 hours and 13 beers to do it this way but it’s working.
…I’m sooo glad that smart phones make life easy.

If you read my post you would see that hot spotting the computer doesn’t work.
And it’s not a laptop.
