Lookin' at the dawn break out the window,
It always looks so nice this time of year,
But today I pray for stormy weather,
Hopin' for those dark clouds to appear,
Today's the day that I get out of prison,
But I ain't celebratin' and here's why,
In ninety minutes time I get the needle,
And not long after that I guess I'll die.

Ate my rib-eye steak and met the chaplain,

Send the storm clouds down from off the mountain,
I just want some thunder when I die.
