I hope more people listened to The Big Interview than came on this thread to give feedback!
Your founder Dick spoke about the site and himself so well. I've decided that all wikiloopers should be given the opportunity to answer some of those questions (if relevant) and a few I didn't get around to asking

I got the feeling that people would be interested in hearing more from the wikiloops founder Richard (Dick). I followed this up by getting him to talk about his professional and personal life. I now have a two part recorded interaction that I think people will want to hear.

Dick is very listenable and says some interesting stuff including lighthearted banter and some deeper, thought provoking things.

Just as an idea, maybe we can upload it as a track on Wikiloops? And if you do another interview, why not do it with a video? That would be really cool :)

Thanks for the feedback TeeGee and you're right, it would have been more effective and memorable as a 'face to face' bells and whistles video with follow up interviews (I'm sure you'd have been one) :) The problem is me I guess - technically challenged and camera shy :o

But I do have another idea brewing which would involve lots of wikiloopers, a kind of Audio Montage... I need to think how that might go first :) Shamika <3

Well, technical problems can always be solved, if you want to do that next time then let me know. Camera shy, you could always wear a funny mask, or be darkened out - there are always solutions. I think this is a cool project :)

Haha, it's not my looks on camera that's so much the problem as I'm a gibbering idiot vocally when I'm filmed, but thanks for the suggestions!

Big interview?
Big amount of work on Shamikas end, I really only talked for some 30 minutes :)

:D Thanks Dick and you get credit for putting up with my hissy fits. This thing very nearly didn't happen at all so I'm glad people are listening and liking, makes it all worthwhile. You definitely have a 'radio' voice :)
