Following the death this week of Rudolph Isley (Isley Brothers), I started to recall how many bands started with family members, particularly BROTHERS.
Here's my list FROM MEMORY (and a discussion with a mate) but I'm sure there are many more.
Everly Brothers
Osmonds
Bee Gees
Oasis
Beach Boys
The Kinks
Dire Straits
Radiohead
Creedence Clearwater Revival
Van Halen
The Allman Brothers
BROS
AC/DC
Kings of Leon
Bauhaus
Arcade Fire
The Proclaimers
The Jackson 5

Are you, or have you ever been in a band with a family member ?

Without Googling!
Bachman Turner Overdrive
Bay City Rollers
Sutherland brothers and quiver
Scorpions

P.S The Allman Brothers had not only the brothers, later they had Derek Trucks on guitar who is related to the Butch Trucks, the drummer

Let's extend this a generation.

Any wikilooper ever worked musically with a Son or Dad ?

Here a couple but they may not have played together! - Bob Marley and his sons,
John Bonham (Son)
Bob Dylan (Son)
Phil Collins (Son)
John and Julian Lennon
That's all I got for now :)

We'll do the ladies later :)

You can Google (TeeGee) if you like as long as you know the band. I have trouble remembering stuff like that... and sometimes I'm not sure if they're related :)

Yes but what fun is there in googling "bands with brothers" or siblings and then copying the list here?

The only one on your list that I heard of was Bay City Rollers ... but by reputation, not by liking the music - I imagine everyone knows those old names on my list :W

Of course The Carpenters, The Osmonds and The Jacksons had a sister in the line up and I want to move on to the LADIES... but not many are coming to mind.
Maybe The Dixie Chicks, Sister Sledge, The Nolans, then going way back to The Beverly Sisters and The Andrews Sisters (I think)
I used to record songs with my Mother who was a beautiful singer and she gave me an interest in old melodic music. I don't have any musical siblings :(

my mom used to sing, but i never recorded anything with her. a few of my family members all play, various instruments and singers as well. my last band was with my brother and cousin, a 3 piece, and it was really fun, always a good time with family <3

one of my cousin's daughters sings and writes music, she's doing really well and loves music.
