United Audio Free Teletronix Tube Comp

UAD is one of the most reputable plug in companies. They are used in pro studios.
They are offering FOR FREE their Teletronix tube compressor plug in until Oct 31st .
You have to download their installation software called UAConnect but that’s no big deal.
For Windows and Mac.
This is the higher end stuff.
No hitches No catches other then you’ll probably get marketing emails from them occasionally.
You can always uninstall.

I use this plugin in this track 280258, but not impress me like other comp as Klanghelm MJUC or TDR Molot. In the same track I used Pulsar w495 (free until 31.10) that sound so good.

There are many -La tube compressors out there. This is free and great for someone on a budget. LA type compressors go good on everything like vocals , acoustics, bass etc and are basic plug ins . I personally use optical or else multi bands but for a basic standard compressor in someone’s collection this is pretty solid. It’s great you can show us how it sounds. Thanks .


Molot is great.!Look for a dynamic enhancer called Density Miii ( Windows only) it is free.

Used with Molot in the bus channel really brings out the track. Use Molot as a limiter and Density ml iii before it. It brings harmonics and overtones out nicely. Was my favorite plug in with Molot at one time .

Next time PA has a sale and you have some change to spare check out their Ampeg plug ins for bass. You can nail one of them for $30

B15 Classic 70’s clean and punchy
SVT-R modern metal bass
SVT V - classic grit tone with midrange

That have a new SVT Pro coming out as well.

Run a clean bass direct and just add these amp simulators to the channel and bing bang boom you are the schnizzle.

I’m a Gallien Krueger solid state bass guy but Ampeg overdriven tube bass is classic .

Actually I take that back.. I’m a “straight into a 800 watt Crown Power amp into 4 10’s and a Celestine 15 inch sub “type guy who has likes to give people bruises in the center of their chest just by hitting the lower e string.
