MUSIC
So many songs have been written about this day. Which is your favorite Monday song ?
I would pick "Rainy days and Mondays" by The Carpenters.

Most people dread returning to work after the weekend. However, in some Eastern countries, Monday is a day of rest and relaxation, and many businesses and schools are closed. What's your take ?

Did anything happen on a Monday that was good, maybe a baby born, a new job started, you met a significant person ?

MYTHS (and legends)
Monday was named after the Moon and there has always been a connection with temporary madness. The word “lunatic” comes from the Roman goddess of the moon, Luna, who was said to ride her silver chariot across the dark sky each night ; Does the Moon have an affect on you ?
There's a rumor in certain cultures that a 'rabbit' lives on the Moon, and people also see a man on the Moon's surface. Some people still believe the Moon landings were faked.

Monday brought out some great songs, most I never heard before.
Without googling, here's some I know
Manic Monday = The Bangles
I don't like Mondays = The Boomtown Rats
Come Monday = Jimmy Buffett
Monday Monday = Mamas and Papas
Monday Morning = Fleetwood Mac
I'm not sure about the other days of the week now, I don't have anything for Tuesday that I can remember so I might have to write something :)

Lots of good vids about Tuesday, I was surprised - but not so many memories or happenings about Monday or Tuesday :( .
I must say that I was born on a Tuesday... but the rhyme doesn't work, I'm not at all graceful :)
Now, WEDNESDAY - or as it's called in USA, HUMP DAY because it's one last obstacle before the wind down to the weekend for most of us.

What have you got on the theme of *Wednesday, *Midweek, *Hump Day, *Half way there... but steer clear of that rhyme again "Wednesday's Child is jull of woe" That might be too depressing :)
