I know we have lots of poets here so have at it folks ! As short or long as you like on a wikiloops theme ideally :)

I will kick it off with

It was quiet in the Shoutbox at wikiloops today
I think that armadillo scared everyone away
Just a lonely tumbleweed rolling slowly past
Why not add a line or two to make this poem last

Now Mrs Clause had a face as red as poor old Rudolph's nose
While Santa had no 'elf control and his excitement rose
But they both knew that tomorrow would be a busy day
So they set their Alarmadillo Clock and loaded up the sleigh
They stopped off at the trolley and Shouted out to Shi
We'd like a dozen coffees please, and a cup of wiki tea !

The thing we like most in the Shoutbox for sure
Is to see the 'support' every day more and more
Some friends are old and others are new
So we hope they all love us... and that means you too !

I hear a nice Jam and I want to join in
But it's 4.58 on a dark Thursday morning
My musical skills are too loud for this time
So I'm wishing I lived in a different clime
They're Jiving and Rocking, it's Evening out West
But it's sleepy in Europe, they still need their rest
