Hey Friends :)
I'm always trying to find good Forum topics because I believe there is a need to go beyond music jamming in a community like wikiloops. This place is full of lovely, clever, talented, entertaining and thoughtful people - come out of your shells today please ;)

* Reasons to be cheerful.... sometimes we get into a way of thinking that is self destructive. Often we're too stubborn to look at the possibility of climbing out of our 'glory' hole! Maybe, with a few words, we can change attitudes, boost confidence, melt hearts and restore joie de vivre here at wikiloops <3

Yesterday, we attended our (youngest) son’s graduation ceremony.
Being proud as parents is a real good feeling !

If you know the film South Pacific you'll know the song "Happy Talk" when Bloody Mary sings to 2 young people about the dreams they can have (with hand talk). I didn't realise that this pretty song was covered by Ella Fitzgerald and Sarah Vaughan ... but the cover that reached #1 in UK was by The Damned Punk front-man Captain Sensible... it was so strange but it proves that even a hardcore Rocker can have a sentimental side :)
