Simple question about internal rules.
Is it allowed to broadcast jams on non-commercial sites like SoundCloud?

Hi, have a read here, "...Things you will probably "get away with"..." https://www.wikiloops.com/knowledge/use_of_tracks_outside_wikiloops.php

Basically, you can publish it on Soundcloud as long as
a) you ask all members that participate on the track if it's ok with them. If they don't reply for whatever reason, that is considered a "no".

b) You make sure to credit them and Wikiloops.com on the track description.

c) You don't make any money from it.

I hope this helps smile

When a looper accepts a mix, he must accept the consequences, otherwise we end up with enslavement. It's up to him to refuse the new mix. It's nice to have everyone play in a closed environment, but be careful, some risk drowning. I don't want to break the rules, but I don't want to turn myself into a tapestry for a minority of censors. If that has to be the case, I'd rather leave.
On the other hand, a simple member has every possibility of recovering what he wants and doing with it what he wants with complete impunity. Sorry, but slightly "disparaging" response to a paying member
Probably a language thing but I don't understand a word of that.

Sorry, it's always difficult for a Frenchman who doesn't speak English to express himself. I myself don't understand everything you say with machine translation.
I found this in the Wikiloops rules and it seems more acceptable. Since I've been a supporting member, I've been using this method, which I believe respects the participants in the mix.

In wikiloope rules:
"Things you will probably "get away with"
If your use of a wikiloops track leaves no doubt that you are willing to give the due credit to the authors and to wikiloops for having supplied the music, then your chances of never being asked about your use-rights are quite high.
wikiloops users love to get heard, and as long as you are not claiming to be the author of their music and sacking credit (and possibly even cash) without passing them their due share, the "common practise" is to tolerate use-cases like using tracks in private video productions that are shared via YouTube or Vimeo or using track on private homepages (no webshops!).
To meet the "tolerable" criteria, any online use of wikiloops tracks should at least include a click-able link to the original track on wikiloops and mention the musicians wikiloops user-names."
