Todays political and social situation getting unpredictable and mad. Can influence of music change humans on the scale of humanity itself or at least can music simply contribute to socio-political change. Is the answer that music “may help to change the way people look at the world and that is, their world views and perspectives, rather than the world itself. Difficult question but what is your opinion.

Krasmir, do you mean music generally, or music that is specifically written as a result of World problems?
The list is endless of music that is composed either during or as a result of conflict, but can music actually prevent situations occurring, can music put warmongers or dictators in a placid mood for example?
What a wonderful world it might be if music could stop fights, cure madness, change society. I still see music as an escape from bad situations when there is no actual physical way to end them. But maybe this subject is verging on political and not just wishful thinking. Thank you for asking the question my friend :)

I feel like music can change the life of anyone IN the world who is willing to really listen to it. Not just hear it but truly listen to it. I don't think those hell bent on being drunk with power or greed have the correct mindset to "listen" to the music, not just hear it. I think Wikiloops is a perfect example of what the world could be. Our governments do not define us as a people. I don't hate anyone, my government does. But they do not speak for me. We all coexist and create and add beauty to this world musically together as one giant musical family. We are all human, and we create this musical Utopia here together on the Loops in peace. All these different languages, cultures, religions and non religions blending together in legit harmony. Music can influence wars but we really need to be at a place where there are no wars. So can music change the world? I think so, but it's up to each person in the world to "listen" to it and see a cause to unite within it. I sadly do not think that everyone is capable of doing so. I absolutely think music can change a person. I know it makes up most of my identity and it has certainly changed my world. Happy to be here in this Wiki-world with my musical, worldly family. ♥️ 🎼

Hi Shamika. Any music thematically related to world troubles or not can help, but only for people which can listen and understand. People which are sensible and looking only for money nothing can be done. Let believe that music can help. Regards. <3

Simple answer is : no ... in the 60ies there was a feeling if could, and Rap in the 90ies had a go, too, but in the end, human nature is what it is... but it does not mean that music does not matter.
