There was a fish that swam the sea,
That seemed to have no end,
He came across an octopus,
And made himself a friend.
They skipped through caves and sunken ships,
Played catch amongst the reeds,
Chomped fishy teeth on coral reefs,
And dined on seaweed seeds.
They dived down to the ocean floor,
Where lantern fish might glow,
The inky hues of deepest blues,
All lit up by their show.
A school of jellies puttered by,
In colourful array,
A tiger shark began to bark,
But quickly went away.
They heard the whale songs ebb and flow,
As dolphins jigged and whirled,
Then laid their heads upon a bed,
Adorned with oyster pearls.
They drifted off to dreamy sleep,
Their story now begun,
And on a starfish made a wish,
That all days be such fun.
That seemed to have no end,
He came across an octopus,
And made himself a friend.
They skipped through caves and sunken ships,
Played catch amongst the reeds,
Chomped fishy teeth on coral reefs,
And dined on seaweed seeds.
They dived down to the ocean floor,
Where lantern fish might glow,
The inky hues of deepest blues,
All lit up by their show.
A school of jellies puttered by,
In colourful array,
A tiger shark began to bark,
But quickly went away.
They heard the whale songs ebb and flow,
As dolphins jigged and whirled,
Then laid their heads upon a bed,
Adorned with oyster pearls.
They drifted off to dreamy sleep,
Their story now begun,
And on a starfish made a wish,
That all days be such fun.

Thanks for that! - Yes, a kid's piece which started off as a Nursery Rhyme attempt but became more of an acoustic guitar sing-along sort of thing. Probably trapped in the middle,
