When you upload a regular, non-private image — for example, of a public place in a city near where you live — we get to see a bit more of the world. Looking forward to it if You like! Isn't it similar to sending greeting postcards from all over the world but online? How about one photo a week?

Well here's a photo looking outside from where I live - you see Frankfurt airport & skyline in the evening. The photo is from 2009, shortly after I moved here...

Near Ulm's main train station, tram lines 1 and 2 run, and this is where the pedestrian zone begins. I like being there because it's central, and from here you can go in many directions.
Historically seen - aside from the the electric tram line 1 - in early days, an *electric* trolleybus network ("Oberleitungsbus") was active from 1947 to 1963 in Ulm, and then abandonned (replaced by Diesel buses). Since a few weeks there are joining some electric buses again.

Not far from our place is Hofheim, and there is a hill with a chapel on top, and that's what it's called ("Kapellenberg"). It's worth the walk up to that chapel, as you can see parts of Frankfurt, or the airport if the weather permits. Here's a pic...
