Who said you can not do funky with a fretless bass? :)

- Set EQ on the bass: flat active EQ with 60% low 50% med 60 % treble

Really what gives the funky taste is the Envelope filter wah, but this one played on a fretless, very few bass players that you know use fretless in funk, but it is more the effect that you apply than the fretless sound in itself. Thanks Marc :Y
