Back In a Flash
Loving this synth ambience here. Most importantly, 21UR worked to a metronome, in this case 60bpm which meant my playing would line up with his chord changes. I set my metronome to 120 for recording this though.
Tonally, the synth reminds me Queen's fantastic soundtrack to the '80s film Flash Gordon so that where I went with it. These sorts of beating drum patterns feature heavily in the atmospheric moments of the film.
It's a constant triplet pattern played on my 18" ...
