Thanks, you're kind as usual, Joe. While we were speaking of signal chain, this is just passive jazz bass, both PUs straight into the Scarlett, mixed in Logic with just the built-in bass amp modelling plugin (tweaked to the point) ;-) If you've got a Mac, Garageband would do the same.

Ill kick it around and see what happens. :-) I always use a pre vs. post, but old dogs can learn new tricks I guess. I'll have to experiment. Thank you for the tips.
