a metal-heavy funky bass, which I had the pleasure of laying down on Peter's terrific drum track. Simple chord progression on A minor or A minor harmonic (A-E-G) waiting for the guitar!!!
Sorry, first cut was too quiet!

It's hard to make solo bass interesting, but you come up with a really catchy riff and play it with beautiful precision and timing. Fantastic! :W

Hi DanDiplo. Thanks for listening in. Super nice words. Actually it shouldn't be a bass solo, due to the slap style it might drift in that direction. But it's just 3 simple bass licks, not even that complicated. And then have quite similar rhythmic elements. Still hoping for a guitar, I'm not allowed to play a solo there:D:D

I never care for complexity, just what sounds good, and this sounds good! I actually like the precise, repetitive nature of a bass line like this - it's quite hypnotic!

That's fabulous! Great funkout, you got the right stuff mate! This is some savage dance rock my friend. Those hammer ons sounds crisp with nice growl!

Thanks for listening in, Dirk. It was a great pleasure for me. Originally I planned a harder rock number for the track, but had not found the right drive. In the end, only the scale remained.:):)

Hi Dirk, I really appreciate your words. Really kind. But before the track can be called great, it has to prove that it fits well with a guitar. You, on the other hand, just have to "cough up" the bass and great stuff comes out of it. Example: e.g. just awesome and not forgotten #212815🤘:D🤘

Hi Basso, erstmal danke! :W:W

Das kenn ich. Bin schon seit Ewigkeiten am Bass-Sound am feilen. Mal ist es zu so und mal zu so. Mach aber auch alles per VST. Mal schauen, evtl. fällt mir ja was ein zu deinem Track. :W
