Such a fine, but short Bossa Nova from FrankieJ and JMB65. I just love playing this stuff! Hope you enjoy.
JMB65
Such a soft and sensitive playing... Thanks Wade! :) +2
Wade
Wade So glad you like it. Your bass lines for this were superb and offered such a good opportunity to join in. Many thanks! +0
MikeyJ
Short and sweet. You do this kind of thing so we’ll.Transports to another time ,another place:) +2
Wade
Wade Thanks so much Mikey. I was totally enamored of Bossa when I first heard it (late 1950s?). Sensitive and sophisticated (not that my playing qualifies). When I finally made it to Brazil in around 2010 it was not to be found except in tourist joints. Ah well, I guess we all move on. +0
deezee
Swooning again :D to your awesome sax Wade!!:o<3:W +2
Wade
Wade I so wish I was around to receive those swoons! Cheers Dorothy! +0

Wade
Wade You're right Rob...but my old chops find this just about right...Ha! Thanks my friend! +1
Bradford
Time transforming. Splendid! +2
Wade
Wade Thanks Bradford. A step back into the 1960s? Got to admit to being somewhat "imprinted" on Bossa, although I never played it at the time. +1
Bradford
Bradford You say a lot with your sax playing +1
Wade
Wade That's a wonderful thing to say. I've always wanted my playing to be like a singer's voice without words. Thanks Bradford. +0
Bradford
Bradford Was thinking that sax players used to do that more when I commented about time.... +1
Wade
Wade It's a bit unfortunate that the last two generations of sax players have been instructed to concentrate on technical playing instead of communicating to an audience. Maybe it will change with the next generation? +0
Bradford
Bradford Maybe there's nothing of substance to say....or no one that has an ear to listen? Either way, glad that I can hear you doing it. +1
DirkL
DirkL Worth a listen! +1
