Simulation Glitch
I was playing with Polyplex, a drum machine that has option to randomise the sounds, and it came out with this glitchy, distorted drum sound I really liked. This lead to the synth bass line, which conjured up (for me) images of a dystopian future but with a hint of optimism in the change... Apologies for including drums/bass, but they felt integral to the track and it didn't sound right without them.

Very cinematic sounding. Yes, a brief script idea as 'The camera opens up in a cracked, dimly lit office restroom, a janitor is cleaning and the camera follows him. As he pauses to look at his watch, the sirens begin and the bombs go off.'

You've got great ears for those possibilities and making them into music that tells a story.
