Koldov Thanks man, I think sometimes I over do it... in the original there are 4 guitars tracked (I think this Wikiloops one is only 2) and it sometimes is a little scary stripping my little creations naked and sending them out into the world to share... :o Thing is I've found some cool things happen when you have multiple takes layered, plus you can hide a lot of mistakes in a full mix! :P I often wonder how 'pro' recording/mixing engineers do it, I can never get that 'monstrous' heavy guitar tone I'm looking for and certainly not with just one guitar track. :@

I wonder if this works....? I'm probably not supposed to do this here, but...

rootshell very thick! i hear ya, i almost all the time do 2 tracks at once, a blend. i actually like the track you uploaded, it's still heavy. part of it is riff attitude and you definitely got that, just makes one make a 'stank face' when listening to a riff like this :o:D:W:W +1
