The sound of the piano may be due to its age, With time the felt that comes into contact with the string gets hard (at the level of the hammer) Unfortunately, only a luthier can correct this (he has special brushes that give the felts back their suppleness). In the meantime, the solution may be to activate the mute if you have one on the piano (it will reduce the resonance) +0
