Cheers Titi! The title is actually not Hawaii, but the mystical (mythical?) island that is the ancestral home of Polynesians. Today it's thought to be the Marquesas Islands. The great voyages that settled Hawaii and New Zealand are said to have started from Hawaiki.

French Polynesia is certainly worth a visit... and it includes the Marquesas Islands. While you're in the neighborhood you could stop by New Zealand.

The Marquesans are also the undisputed masters of the art of tattooing in the Pacific.So many places attract me indeed. New Zealand is one of them. I would need more free time to be able to do all that.
