One thing i have heard about that, if you want metal bass tone. Record 2 ways. 1 is exactly like this. Drive out. Well done! 2nd are simple. Mix together. And who'll a ;) sounds grate

Yes - if you want a badass distorted basstone you need t play with two ampsims ;) The first one is a distorted guitaramp and the second a clean bassamp
