Marco Minnemann is one of my favourite drummers of all time.
This is a great three piece band if you havn't checked them out yet.

The Aristocrats

Guitarist - Guthrie Govan (Steven Wilson, Hans Zimmer, Asia/GPS)
Bassist - Bryan Beller (Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Dethklok)
Drummer - Marco Minnemann (Steven Wilson, Joe Satriani, Steve Hackett)

If I can recommend you something by Marco you have to study "Extreme Interdependence". An excellent manual for the interdependence of the limbs

Great recommendation! I am familiar with it, I believe I struggled with even the "warm up" sections but will return and practice it further as you have reminded me how great of a book it was. I remember watching all of his documentary videos, especially the one where he would drum to odd time signatures with TV Show quotes like The Simpsons etc. Such a wonderful person and incredible musician. I have been following his recent solo projects on youtube, I'm sure you also follow them too. Thanks for the reply I appreciate that reminder!

I also have Derek Roddy's Balance exercises, Mike Mangini's C&C and Thomas Lang's Matrix still to go back to as well.

P.S. I have 3 pairs of signed Marco drum sticks from shows I've seen him at here in Australia :P
