Water all around me
I’m drowning in my shoes
It’s dripping from the ceiling

It’s coming from the pipes above
Through no fault of my own
I see the puddles on the floor
Need a boat to get around

These pipes they say
Are forty years
If they’ve seen a day
They call them galvanized
But I think they’re paper mache

They’re crusty at the corners
They bleed a rusty hue

And in my bathtub too
