Wow... honesty! So glad you can share feelings. In the Maori culture (New Zealand native peoples) they have a death ritual time in which friends and relatives gather. A carved walking stick (ceremonial) is passed to those who wish to speak. It's a time for all thoughts and experiences in relation to that person to be brought out... good and bad. It's a unique cultural thing, which you have also now used. It's a cleansing rather than coverup. Good to hear you embracing this. It's much healthier than lies.
