The Vigilant
The Original track was amazing. Haunting. Beautiful. Deep.
This... Well, this is madness. :)

:27 Was hooked...harmonized volume swells? Really upping the ante on tasty aren't we?lol. Then 1:38 killed me again. This is frenetic and emotional playing and I have to give you huge props for the sweeps...there is some great technique there Aaron. Awesome work. Blown away :)

To be fair, the RP500 makes the volume swells pretty easy. :)
As always, you're too kind Dan. Thank you though! I left your track on repeat for about 20 minutes last night. Was excited to play this. Mostly for the part at about :35
Now that it's done, all I can hear is the 'Comfortably Numb" descending chord progression I put in there for a few parts. For a brief second, I thought i discovered the coolest thing ever when I was rocking it. Then I realized why it sounded familiar. For a brief moment though, I thought of something brilliant. :) +1

Brief moment nothing...brilliance lies in the knowing what elements will work and that works here and a completely different application in essence here. You did awesome on this :) Weaving those things in takes a lot of "ear" let alone the technique to pull off the madness portions :) :)

Thanks Cody! It's funny you say that... I was just listening to some of your tracks to decide if I found how I was going to start my morning tomorrow :)
